Ron Uber

Ron Uber, Husband, Father, Grandfather and shipmate, passed away on August 18, 2005.

Those of us, whose lives were touched by our shipmate, will remember Ron as a soft spoken, caring,and compassionate man. He will be missed by many.

Ron served aboard the USS CADMUS (AR-14) from 1956 to 1958, in R-4 Div and held the rate of OM3.

He has been very active with the USS Cadmus Association, almost from its inception. He most recently served as the President from 2004 to 2005.

Ron lived in West Salem, WI with his lovely wife Sylvia. Ron was an ordained minister, an EMT for a local hospital and loved to travel in his motor home. Ron also enjoyed photography and ceramics.

God Bless you Ron, you have left big footprints in our lives.
